International Women's Day afternoon concert on
Saturday 9th March 2024 for the
Jubilate joined forces with two female voice choirs - the award-winning Reunited in Harmony, and The St Marylebone CE School Chamber Choir - to raise funds for the Marylebone Project, in celebration of International Women's Day. A joyous afternoon programme full of uplifting compositions was enjoyed by a hugely appreciative audience at St Marylebone Parish church, which included the composer Joanna Forbes L'Estrange (three of whose compositions was part of Jubilate's repertoire).
The event raised over £4,000 for the charity, a sum that can provide a woman with 85 nights - nearly 3 months - of support in an emergency bed., and represents a life-changing amount of time for women supported by the charity.

It was practically standing room only, as we welcomed some new faces alongside familiar ones at St Edmund the King for the 2023 Jubilate Christmas Concert Our programme was a festive delight for all ages, with a mix of classic and modern carols, inclusion of the Jubilate Brass Ensemble and plenty of audience participation. Here is a flavour of some key moments!

Christmas Events : December 2020
Jubilate were invited to add some festive cheer with carol singing at outdoor Christmas events held at the Chiltern Open Air Museum on 6th & 7th December, and again at RHS Wisley's Winter Glow Event.
Both events were sold out quite early, and it was a great opportunity to finally be able to sing aloud (albeit in a Covid-friendly, socially-distanced way!) and entertain all the visitors to the event.
Sunday 8th March 2020 - International Women's Day Concert
On Sunday 8th March 2020, Jubilate joined local choirs West Harrow Choir and Kids Choir Harrow to hold a fundraising concert at Christ Church Roxeth (Harrow) to mark International Women's Day: a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
A retiring collection was held in aid of the Rwanda Sisterhood Association. The charity's patron, Dame Helen Hyde, attended the concert and spoke with great passion about the work achieved by this charity.
We were delighted to have raised £875 for this wonderful organisation.
